Michigan Farm Cheese Dairy, Inc., makers of Andrulis Baltic-style Farmer’s Cheese, is facing a critical moment after nearly 88 years in business. A combination of rising production costs, loss of key accounts, and ongoing economic pressure has created an immediate financial strain that we can no longer absorb on our own. Over the past year, expenses for milk, labor, packaging, and distribution have all increased significantly, while sales have declined due to the loss of major customers. Like many small, family-owned food producers, we have continued pushing forward, doing everything possible to stay afloat—but the gap has become too large. This is no longer about growth or expansion. This is about survival. Without immediate financial support, we are at risk of shutting down our operations entirely.

The funds raised will go directly toward keeping our doors open—covering essential operating costs, stabilizing production, and allowing us to continue supplying our customers while we rebuild. Most importantly, it will preserve an 88-year-old, third-generation family business and allow our fourth-generation cheesemaker the chance to carry this legacy forward. Your support is not just helping a business—it is helping save a piece of history, a family’s livelihood, and a tradition that has been passed down for generations.
