Please help us, we are in dire straits...

My name is Michael and my friend is Deanne. We are both in our 50s without many prospects available to us, and this makes it more difficult to find work or help of any kind. We are both without family to turn to. Our situation has almost come to the very end. We are about to lose everything we have left. Our RVs, our belongings, everything. Soon we will not have a roof over our heads. Our bad luck has been one long string of events that keep taking what little we own to survive. Both of us are stuck without a means to pay our bills. We have been plagued with people stealing our things and broken promises that take rather than give us help of any kind. Our so-called friends see our predicament and keep taking advantage of us. No one cares! At this point, we don't know whom to trust or what to do.

Neither of us has ever been in this kind of situation before, so we decided to pool what little we have left and work together as a team to survive. I signed up for food stamps, and this helps us. We both take odd jobs when we can find them. We go to the local churches for supplies, and we're both on lists for added sustenance. We bathe in the nearby river and local businesses. The library helps to charge our electronics, and we use the Wi-Fi wherever we can to use the internet. We share what we have with each other and are working to better our situation together as we both realize neither of us can go it alone.

Deanne lost her truck in a bad accident and cannot move her RV anywhere. My vehicle has mechanical problems and won't run at all. Hired help has made it worse. I lost my job because the company I worked for sold their business to another corporation, and they fired everyone. Deanne's luck ran out when she got into her accident. The settlement from that was just enough to pay off her medical bills, leaving nothing to move forward. I am looking to sell my RV, but this is difficult as it doesn't start. When I do sell it, it will leave us a little to move forward but will not be nearly enough to get back on our feet. Thieves have left us both with an ever-increasing depression that does nothing for our well-being.
