Help us save our 4-legged baby girl, Mia.

Hello, I am Camille and this is Mia, my baby, best friend, and twin flame. If you know Mia, you know she is incredibly smart, funny, energetic, and sometimes bossy. She holds a special place in our family that we searched for so long to find.

Recently, Mia has fallen very ill. She rarely gets sick or acts down in the dumps, so we knew something serious was happening. She started vomiting and refused to eat. My mom took her to the emergency vet, where they conducted some lab work and sent her home with antibiotics, something to boost her appetite, and something to help her keep food down. That single vet visit cost my mom almost $1,600. All the medications were in pill form, and Mia, being the clever dog she is, would pick through her food and avoid taking them. It was a challenge to get her to take the medicine, especially when she wasn't eating and was vomiting.

Seeing that she wasn't improving, we decided to take her to another vet who kept her for 4 days to conduct more tests, provide IV fluids, and monitor her closely. When she finally came home, she seemed better for a short while, but then quickly went back to her sickly state. She was not eating, could barely walk, had lost about 15 lbs, and looked terrible. She had lost interest in playing, going for walks, eating treats, seeing nana, or going to the park.

Our financial resources are dwindling, and we cannot bear to lose our dog. She means everything to my mom and me.
