Save MELA Bangladeshi Restaurant

MELA restaurant owners and long-time Pullman community members, Shaheen and Enam Khan, were given a short vacancy notice by their landlords. The news was devastating to this family whose livelihood depends on the restaurant they have worked tirelessly to build over the last 7 years--3 of those years in their current Moscow, Idaho location.

While Shaheen and Enam were trying to negotiate to stay a few more months, they are now in the position of having to close December 19, and vacate by December 31. They made improvements to their current location by taking out a Small Business Loan, $13,700 of which they are still paying off. Closing on such sort notice has put them in a very precarious financial situation.
