Stop the Medina Neighborhood Deer Bow Hunt
Donation protected
We need your help!
Most Medina city residents are unaware that City Council is preparing to approve bow hunting of our deer within our neighborhoods. If this ordinance passes, residents can register to hunt deer in their yards with crossbows/longbows. Pet dogs and cats have been accidentally killed in other Ohio cities that allow this practice. This program is an accident waiting to happen, and the City of Medina has waived all liability if any injuries, death or property damage occur. We feel this is very unsafe for our neighbors, children and pets. We must stop this ordinance from passing!
If you can donate, the funds will be used to inform the community about the risks that we may face. We believe most citizens of Medina would find hunting in the neighborhoods where our children play, families gather and pets inhabit appalling. The funds from this campaign will be used to create yard signs, mailing materials and other awareness tools to inform the community about these dangers.
