Save Meadville Eats: A Family Business in Need

Unfortunately, since January, Meadville Eats has been locked out of Facebook! That was unbeknownst to us our main form of advertising. Since then, our business has been impacted tremendously. We have lost a lot of our customer base due to them thinking we are no longer open for business. As a lot of you may know, we are a small family-owned business. Our family started this restaurant from cooking meals at home to turning that dream into a reality and getting a brick and mortar. We didn’t have any funding, loans, or grants. We strictly took our hard-earned savings and began our journey to open a restaurant.

Since January, it’s been a struggle financially to remain open with business being pretty scarce and other operational expenses. We are asking the community to come together and help us remain a part of this town. Unfortunately, our savings can no longer carry us to remain open without help. We have been exploring other avenues as well, like financial grants and even possible small business loans; however, we have not been successful just yet. This is our last effort asking our community to help us remain here in business to service you and provide you guys with great food.

We have been open for a little over two years, and we would hate to have to close down like many of the other small businesses. We don’t know what the future holds, but regardless of what, we are hard workers and very driven. If we can’t remain in our current location, we will continue to service our community by offering catering and saving up for a food truck for a grand comeback!
