Every child has dreams of running away, taking off with no warning and travelling to far off places. A desire for freedom is ingrained in who we are as humans, we yearn for a taste of adventure, but very few people end up acting on this desire. My best friend Noah and I have found ourselves dreaming of travel more times than I can count but unlike most we are choosing to take action. We Are Running Away. Both Noah and I are at a place in our lives where we are staring down our futures; we know that if we don’t act fast our time will be gone just as it has for so many dreamers like us.



Our dream is to embark on a 2,700 mile journey to the heart of Yosemite National Park, documenting every person we meet and place we see to create a film about our adventures. Our trusty steed will be a 1984 Volkswagen Westfalia named Sid. She’s not fast but she sure is pretty! Your donations will go toward the production costs of the film, food, and gas for Sid. We consider every one of your donations as a collaboration with us therefore the name of every backer will be included in the credits of the film when it’s completed.
