Hi, my name is Amanda. I've made this fundraiser in order to help me pay my bills this month as DWP have decided without telling me till today they stopped my benefit. I have to transition to UC form ESA because of The Labour Partys new rules.

They stopped my money on 27th of February. I realised something was wrong on the 10th March. I contacted them on the 10th, and 13th of March. They finally replied to me yesterday 17th of March informing me they would not open my claim back up and that I must go onto universal credit. I spoke to Welfare Rights at Trafford Housing trust who are going to take me Job Center Plus on 24th of March. They are taking me because I have health conditions witch restrict my functioning and abilty, so having an expert with me is the best thng for me. They are asking for the benefit to be reopened, and although the DWP have already said no to me, lets see if they are going to say that to the Welfare rights officer! Failing getting my benefit back the only other option is UC, which I will not recieve back dated from my last live claim, and I will have to wait until 30th April for UC payment. As Ive recently lost my dog of 18 years, vets fees have cost me around £650. Ive not been able to make my rent payments, nor my bills and Im now £180 rent bill, a £40 phone bill, and a £69 bill. Ive already had my line restricted now so \I cant make calls. Im hoping to be able to get enough to cover my rent, so I dont lose my home of 20 years, and to pay my outstanding bills and the coming ones. Hopefully that will get me through till next month. I don't know if you can help, obviously it would mean the whole world to me. I have to paarents, they died when I was young, and I also have no family who can help me. My housing have helped with Gas and Electric, and a friend with cat food products as I have three cats. Ive had no help or support with food, though IF my phone was on I would have been able to collect weekly shopping from The Bread and Butter project, without being able to respond to the text message I was unable to go on their list. I have very little food, just potatoes and rice, and sadly Im already losing weight. This is really upsetting me, in the last year I have managed to gain three stone in weight, as I was really ill for many years, (15 years, I weighed 6 stone) and now just like that everything Ive worked hard to become has been brought to a halt due to the actions of DWP, as Labour are making changes. IF i could work I would, however Im in therapy three times a wekk due to PTSD, complex trauma from my life in the UK care system. I really hope there is someone out there who can help because tbh, Im not sure how long I can do this for...6 weeks with no money and anxiety daily :(
