Help Support Mennonite Collegiate Institute
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Lexi and I am currently a grade 12 student at Mennonite Collegiate Institute. As of right now, MCI is closing its doors for the 2025-2026 school year due to significant financial strain. MCI is more than a school. It’s a deeply rooted community built on faith, compassion, and care. For over a century, it has provided a space where students are nurtured spiritually, academically, and emotionally. It’s a place where young people feel truly seen — and for many, it has been a place of healing, hope, and transformation. Students currently enrolled are left to find another school, and this can be a very hard transformation especially after the deep and personal connections formed in previous years.
For some students, MCI hasn’t just shaped their lives, it’s saved them.
But now, the future is uncertain. Without immediate and significant financial support, MCI will be forced to close after the current school year ends.
This is where you come in.
We are calling on alumni, families, churches, anyone who believes in the power of faith-based education and community to help keep this mission alive. Every single dollar brings us closer to the goal of keeping MCI’s doors open. Every donation, big or small, is an act of hope.
If MCI has touched your life, or if you believe in the power of places like it, please consider giving and sharing this campaign. Together, we can make sure MCI’s story doesn’t end here.
Let’s fight for this school. Let’s fight for its students. Let’s keep the light of MCI shining.
