This is Max, a wonderful 6 year old golden retriever who’s full of life and so much love. His owner, Andrew (my neighbour) loves him more than anything, I’m sure many pet owners can relate to that.

Sadly Max has been going through a very rough time. He recently had to have his leg amputated after vets discovered cancer. To everyone’s surprise, after just one week he was already trying to play and go for wanders around the neighbourhood. It was amazing how quickly he was adapting, things were looking great.

Now his owner has been hit with yet another blow, biopsy results have come back showing cancer has spread to Max’s lymph nodes, now Max needs further treatment. After Max’s last procedure, pet insurance has sadly reached the pay out limit. His owner has tried to sell items, but it’s just not enough and is taking too long. Funds raised will pay for further treatment and give this amazing dog the chance he deserves. He is more than just a pet, he means the world to his owner and is loved by everyone that meets him. Max really does make the world a better place.
