Hello my name is Jennifer Dokken, I’m Creating this fundraising for my dad, because he doesn’t know how to do it, it’s for his Anatolian Shepherd dog, Max. Max is a 6 year old Anatolian Shepherd family dog. The sweetest 200 lb dog you’ll ever meet, but a couple weeks ago Max started limping on one of his hind legs. We thought maybe it was sprang ankle or possibly broken leg but upon further inspection from our neighbor who is a retired vet he thought it was probably a hairline fracture or quite possibly cancer in the bone. It has since, swollen up twice the size it should be, and is so swollen, it look like it is going to pop out between his toes. Max has stopped eating and is in serious need of veterinary care … We just can’t afford it right now, As my father is on Social Security as only source of income, he is 80 years old and his wife, my mother is on hospice care at the nursing home right now, they have extra medical bills of their own piling up. I recently was injured at work and I am on TTD leave. There is just NO extra money to be able to take Max to the vet. We love our Max so much but the finances are just not there and we have not been able to find a vet that will work on a payment plan. We were denied credit on care credit. I’m hoping to set up an account through Neel veterinarian If they will except donations directly to the them, tomorrow But as of tonight he is down and not getting up even to eat so we need to get him in right away to ER or right away in the morning. Any donations that you can possibly spare would be so greatly appreciate!!! I don’t even know how I would begin to thank you.
