Maverick is a 7 month old Labrador puppy who is the happiest sweetest boy, he loves nothing more than to cuddle, play and please you, after noticing mavericks front leg didn’t look right, we took him to the vet’s for X-rays, where we discovered he has elbow dysplasia, the most severe the vet has ever seen. Due to the size of maverick, after lots of discussions with specialists, the only option we have are to have an operation to fuse the elbow other than being PTS, although he is insured this won’t cover it due to needing a specialist. Small vets can’t do anything for him. Please help us save our boy. He hasn’t experienced his first Christmas, his first birthday, hasn’t had the joy of opening presents. The money raised will be used to pay for the operation to fuse mavericks bones together so he will no longer be suffering in pain, and he will be able to have a decent quality of life.

UPDATE: maverick is now 17 months old, he’s doing well, he is due to go back to the vet hospital in the next month or so to see about the operation as he is now struggling with walking. I will update again once we have seen the vet again
