Hello,

We are sharing here with a heavy heart. Our sweet vibrant German Shephard rescue puppy, Maui, was hit by a landscaping truck. Great news is he survived and all major systems are intact! Bad news is he has a very serious wound to his back leg (a degloving injury). We want him to be able to run, jump, and play as he did the first 6 months of his life - to regain a good quality of life! 

The medical bills are significant, and he has a ways to go- he  needs additional skin grafting surgeries to  his wound - he has no skin left on this leg! To date, he’s been through rough waters. He’s endured 2 debridements for removing lost tissue and foreign debris, vacuum-assisted closures to decrease chance of infection and help save as much tissue as possible, lots of bandage changes, lots of meds for pain and antibiotics, and he still needs skin grafts to close his wounds. He is a trooper and in good spirits. 



His medical bills are piling up and we are  financially stretched. We would appreciate any financial assistance you can offer - no donation is too small.
