My Name is Masoud, and This Is My Story From Gaza.
Since October 7th, 2023, my life — and the lives of my family — have been completely destroyed.
We lost our home. We lost our dreams.
We lost the simple right to live in peace.
I am Masoud, the eldest son in a family of 10 from Gaza.
When the war began, we had to flee our house — the place we built with love, hope, and years of sacrifice.
Now it’s nothing but rubble.
My father was injured in the early days of the war. He’s in urgent need of medical care, but Gaza’s hospitals are overwhelmed, destroyed, or lacking even the most basic supplies. I have become the one responsible for my entire family. I am just one person — a young man — but I carry the weight of ten lives on my shoulders.
I have two brothers: Mohammad and Ahmad.
They should be playing in the streets, laughing, learning, dreaming of the future.
Instead, they are learning how to survive without food, without safety, and without a home.
I also have three sisters.
They once had dreams of education, of becoming teachers, doctors, artists.
Now, they’ve lost everything — their schools, their books, and worst of all, their hope.
Every day is a fight.
We wake up not knowing if we’ll have food to eat, clean water to drink, or a safe place to sleep.
Flour costs $30 per kilo — and that’s if we’re lucky enough to find it. There is no money.
Aid is being stolen or sold. The few trucks that come are not enough.
The world sees numbers, but we live the pain behind each number.
We are not just statistics.
We are human beings with dreams, fears, and families — just like you.
We are not asking for luxury. We just want to survive. We want a chance to rebuild what was taken from us.
Even a small donation can make a big difference.
A little help can mean a meal for my brothers, a smile on my sisters’ faces, or medicine for my father.
Hope lives in the smallest acts of kindness.
Please, share my story with your friends.
Support our campaign. Spread the word. Help bring back life to our broken world.
I am Masoud, and I’m still holding on. With your help, we can rise again.
