New Fence for Margarita's Ranch
Donation protected
My name is Sherri. I'm living in San Felipe, Mexico, where I befriended a wonderful local 75-year-old woman named Margarita who is the sole owner and caretaker of a ranch with about 150 animals, including pigs, cows, sheep, goats, and chickens. This is a working ranch that helps sustain the community. She is struggling to maintain it as she is up in years. She has not had a day off from caring for the animals in many years. The recent hurricane has damaged some of the 300-year-old corrals for the animals. Coyotes have been getting into the sheep and goat pen, killing and eating several goats. They have taken several pregnant ones, which is especially tragic. I would like to raise this modest amount to help her replace the fences with stronger and higher ones to keep coyotes out. Please help if you feel so drawn. Of all the people I've met in San Felipe, I can think of none more deserving than Margarita.
