Save Many Rivers Books & Tea!
Donation protected
We now have a donor matching up to $20,000 total donations!
Founders Rob Schmidt and Stuart Goodnick are retiring. Grady Kallenbach and Karl Frederick plan to keep the store going, form the Many Rivers Foundation, and expand our community outreach and sales.
To expand Many Rivers’ value to the community we will:
1. Form Many Rivers Foundation, a 501(c)3 community educational resource, (In the interim, Rob and Stuart will provide temporary 501(c)3 fiscal sponsorship through Tayu Order, Inc. while we seek approval/certification for the new foundation.)
2. Resume pre-Covid store hours and offerings
o Host weekly Thursday night book launches, performances, and speaker events
o Open Sunday hours Noon – 4 PM
o Host monthly tea tastings
3. Enhance the website’s functionality and ease of use
o Update book and tea inventory for sale. Add high value/collector/rare editions
o Add podcasts and online discussion groups
