Our sweet boy Mando has always been full of life, but recently we noticed something wasn’t right. He began walking with his rear drifting to the left, and soon he was struggling to keep his balance—sometimes even falling when trying to jump over obstacles. After multiple vet visits, neurological exams, and an MRI, we received devastating news: Mando has a tumor located between his fourth ventricle and brain stem, near his cerebellum.
We’ve been told that without treatment, we may only have about three months left with him. He just turned four years old in March, and our hearts are completely shattered.
There is still hope. Specialists at UC Davis have given us the option of surgery and radiation, which could give Mando a real chance at more time—a chance to keep bringing joy, love, and light into our lives. But the cost of ongoing care, travel, surgery, and treatment is more than we can manage on our own, especially after already facing expenses from vet visits, medications, and time away from work.
Right now, we’re doing everything we can to keep Mando comfortable and happy. But we don’t want to give up on him without trying.
If you’re able to help in any way—whether through a donation or by sharing Mando’s story—it would mean everything to us. Every bit of support brings us closer to giving him the chance he deserves.
Thank you for keeping Mando in your thoughts and for helping us fight for more time with our beloved boy. ❤️
