Hello everyone, I honestly don't know any better way to say this so I'll just lay it out flat. My elder brother Mahran Hossain was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic lymphoma stage 4, a rare form of blood cancer, in June last year. We sought the best treatment possible within our reach and so he was admitted to Evercare hospital. Since then, he has undergone innumerable tests and chemotherapy at significant cost. With the help of our relatives, personal savings, loans and donations we have come this far and he has responded quite well to the treatment (as far as the doctors tell me). Now, he has entered the final phase of his treatment, which requires him to stay at the hospital for the next month to be blasted with a final 7-day round of chemo followed by a stem cell transplant. Needless to say, this too shall bear significant cost of more than Tk 16 lakh. As some of you may know, we are not in the best financial situation given the untimely demise of our parents but are continuing to do our very best to pay for it ourselves. However, seeing as my options have become severely limited, I kindly request you all to consider helping out in any way possible because even the slightest aid would go a long way at this point.
