Save Mahoning Valley Speedway!

Let's save our local short track! Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton, PA, has been listed for sale and this sale could potentially be the end for racing at a track that has been around since the mid-1950s! There is a lot of commercial development going on in the area and if a big corporation gets their hands on this place, they won't hesitate to bulldoze it and turn what was once a thriving family-oriented racetrack into nothing but distant memories.

I'm asking for your help to raise funds to buy the track and help keep short track racing alive in NEPA! Any funds raised by this will be refunded if we can't raise enough in time to make a deal to purchase the track! I personally don't have the resources to even come close to making this happen, but what I do have is a dream of running a racetrack, a knack for providing entertainment, a passion for motorsports, and a deep love for Mahoning Valley Speedway.

If we can make this happen, the whole renovation process of the track will be recorded and posted to YouTube, and the first season of on-track events will be streamed live for free! This place has so much potential to thrive as more than just a racetrack! I would love to bring events such as monster trucks, demolition derbies, car shows, concerts, community festivals, and more to Mahoning Valley Speedway in the future and give the community a place to come together for some great entertainment!

Asking price for the track is $3,000,000. The $1,000,000 goal of this fundraiser is to cover a 20-25% down payment, taxes/fees/inspections, and any money leftover will go directly into making improvements to the facility. I'm not interested in the track to try and become rich off of it. I'm interested in the track to keep racing alive in the area and save this place that so many racers and families have called their home on Saturday night over the years! Let's revive this place to its fullest potential and "Make Mahoning Great Again"!
