Most of you know this already, but my family lost our 10 month old puppy, Henna, just three weeks ago, and adopted Maeli Rae on Sunday, Dec. 13. She immediately became lethargic, would not eat, and is vomiting.  We took her to the vet, and she has giardia, an intestinal parasite, which has caused anemia, dehydration, and hypoglycemia. She spent the day on IV fluids but needs to be back at the vet for daily IV fluids, which could cost about $200/day, and they aren't sure how many days. I am asking for donations of any amount to help with her vet costs. Edit; Maeli deteriorated quickly and was admitted to The Cove on Tuesday night, and is still being treated there.
