Hi everyone,
My name is Carmen, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. I’m currently on short-term disability due to personal medical issues. As hard as it is for me to ask, I have no choice but to turn to the kindness of others to help save my sweet Siberian Husky, Luna.
Luna is only 1 year and 10 months old, still just a baby. Recently, she was diagnosed with pyometra, a serious and life-threatening infection of the uterus. The vet explained that without emergency surgery, Luna’s uterus could rupture, leading to sepsis, which is fatal.
The cost of the surgery is $5,000, and her initial vet visit and diagnostic testing were $500. Between raising my kids and being out of work while on short-term disability, I simply don’t have the resources to cover this unexpected expense on my own.
Luna has been such a source of comfort and happiness for my family. She’s playful, loving, and brings so much joy to my children’s lives. The thought of losing her because I can’t afford her surgery is devastating.
I’m humbly asking for your help, no amount is too small. Every single donation will go directly toward Luna’s surgery and recovery. If you aren’t able to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Luna and I, along with my three kids, are so deeply grateful. ❤️
