Save Luna: Urgent Surgery Needed for IVDD
Donation protected
to anyone taking even a second to read this, I already appreciate you immensely.
I can’t believe I’m even writing this but my baby needs so much help. This is my baby, Luna, female, French Bulldog, 4 years, 9 months old. My best friend.
On May 25th, she displayed symptoms and signs of IVDD (which is common in frenchies) and it hasn’t gotten better.
Late at night Friday, June 6th, I noticed her back hind legs go limp and she started dragging them. This is not a good sign in frenchies with IVDD. After a 6 hour hospital visit, it’s been confirmed she needs an MRI and surgery in order to live a happy healthy life as she’s about 90% paralyzed already. The doctor told me a cost for this surgery and I wanted to throw up after hearing the amount.
I am never the one to ask for these things and reach out to complete strangers. I have a lump in my throat and stomach as I write this but my poor baby needs help and we absolutely cannot afford this at all.
Even if all anybody is able to donate is $1, that’s $1 closer to my baby being healed and living a happy life, as she deserves in her young years.
thank you so much and I appreciate your time, more than you know.
