We are asking for your $upport for Billy Edney to give her Beloved Luna a chance to survive. Luna has been very sick and is in need of a life saving surgery immediately.
This last week she was showing signs of distress, which led to the ER. They ran several tests and discovered a huge mass covering her abdomen putting pressure on her kidney, liver, spleen, and tucked up underneath her rib cage. They’re not 100% positive but believe this mass could be benign and that, upon removal, she would make a full and healthy recovery to live a happy life for several more years.
Luna has brought such incredible joy to so many others that have been blessed to meet her. Billy is one of the most amazing people and Luna is one of the most amazing dogs and together they have touched and uplifted the lives of so many ~ we hope many of those will return the love and SAVE LUNA'S LIFE TODAY! We are not ready to say good bye... especially since there IS something WE CAN DO... GET HER INTO SURGERY THIS WEEK!
In order to get her scheduled for surgery Billy needs the base cost of $6,800 and the final costs will be around $8,500. (She has already spent $2,400 to get to this point of diagnosis.) Luna needs this surgury ASAP because the mass is starting to impact other organs - so right now her prognosis is good and she is likely to make a full recovery... but, if the mass continues to grow and impact other organs it is much more likely that she will suffer additional complications from the impacted organs losing function. So the time is NOW to SAVE LUNA!!
