Save Luna: Emergency Medical Funds Needed

Hello everyone,

First off, I would like to say I’m not the type of person that usually asks for help, but fur babies are my entire world.

On Sunday, October 13th, Luna stopped eating and drinking. I assumed she had maybe eaten something she wasn’t supposed to and it would pass. When arriving home from work, I noticed she was having shallow breaths and it seemed like she was struggling to breathe.

After rushing her to the emergency vet, 8 hours of waiting, and X-rays, and $800 dollars later, the results were inconclusive. They said testing would cost a couple of thousand dollars, and I just do not have those funds. My other option is putting her down, which would absolutely destroy me.

So, I’m asking for help from family and friends. I absolutely understand times are hard, but if anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, everyone. Much love.

UPDATE : Luna's oxygen levels are improving!!! She isn’t breathing as heavily or rapidly anymore. Our biggest concern was her breathing, and it’s such a relief to see it getting better. The next issue to tackle is that she still isn’t eating, which I’m sure is a combination of being scared and stressed. I will keep you all updated as I know more. I can’t express how much everyone’s donations, shares, and kind words mean to me.
