Save Lulo: Emergency Surgery Needed
Donation protected
It’s 5 AM and I’m writing this from the emergency vet. Just a few hours ago, our playful, goofy 3-year-old golden doodle, Lulo, was happily hanging out with us at home. Suddenly, after drinking water, he started gagging and crying out in pain — a sound we’d never heard from him before.
We rushed him to the ER, and the vet told us the terrifying news: his stomach had twisted — a condition called bloat (GDV). Without emergency surgery, dogs can go into shock and die within hours.
Lulo is more than a pet — he’s family. He’s the one who greets us at the door every day with his whole body wagging. He’s the gentle giant who leans in for hugs, makes us laugh with his silly zoomies, and curls up beside us when we’re sad. We can’t imagine our lives without him.
Right now, he’s in surgery fighting for his life. The cost for the procedure and the intensive recovery care he’ll need afterward is far more than we can afford. We’re doing everything we can to save him, but we need help.
Every contribution — no matter the size — will go directly toward his surgery and recovery. If you can’t donate, sharing this can help us reach others who might be able to.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping give Lulo the chance to live the happy, tail-wagging life he deserves. With your help, we believe he’ll be back home soon — wagging, playing, and reminding us every day of the kindness of friends and strangers alike.
