Save Lucy: Help Keep Her with Her Family

Hi everyone... I have a heartbreaking story of a pig named Lucy. I'm a friend of Lucy's family. My name is Gina Tolento. Lucy is a 15 year old pygymy pig who is an emotional support animal for the father of this family. She has been part of their family for so long and now because an anonymous caller reported Lucy to nyc 311 the Department of Health is threatening to take the pig away. The family is facing hefty fines and court dates and needs to hire an attorney to fight to keep their pig who is declining in health and may die soon. Lucy shouldn't die alone without her family around her . If Lucy is ripped away from her family, she may die alone in a strange facility. She won't be able to handle the separation. She has trouble walking the stairs and has appointments with the vet to examine her to see why she has been sick lately. This family needs our help for their family pet pig of 15 years. She lives upstate NY but recently was brought back to Staten Island for medical reasons and also because she cannot sustain long car rides. The family is so upset about Lucy's medical decline and does not need the stress of fighting to keep their pig with them and battle courts through this already emotional time.
