Thanks for reading! I'm dog mom to Larry (born 10.27.2024) and Lucy (born 12.31.2024). When Lucy was born, her first-time mama was cleaning her up and mangled her left rear leg. She's missing her foot and bone up to her knee right now. She's nearly fully grown, and her bone is beginning to push hard against the fragile skin that's left, and will undoubtedly make its way through at some point.

We had her evaluated and the next step is to remove the leg up to her hip joint (approx. $5,900), which we're hoping to be able to do before any suffering has to be endured. We weren't expecting to have to do it so soon, and are seeking help to get her in as soon as possible. Any amount is a blessing, just like this sweet, sweet schnauzer baby of ours.
