My sweet boy Lucky is fighting for his life right now. He swallowed something he shouldn’t have, and now he needs emergency surgery to remove it. The cost is between $7,000–$9,000, and I’m doing everything I can to get him the care he needs. Lucky turns 3 on October 29th — he deserves to see that day happy and healthy. Anything you can give, even a share, means the world to us.
Hi everyone,
I know the world has so much going on right now, but my world is crashing — because my dog Lucky needs emergency surgery. Lucky isn’t just a pet; he’s family.
Lucky needs surgery to remove foreign objects from his stomach and GI tract. The procedure could cost anywhere from $7,000 to $9,000, which is completely out of reach for me right now.
There’s a smaller procedure called “endoscopic retrieval” that’s cheaper, but it might not fix everything if there are still objects in his intestines. He’s already losing weight and struggling because he’s not producing enough of this healing protein: Albumin.
Lucky is only turning 3 years old on October 29th — far too young to be going through something like this. I feel awful and guilty because I can’t help but think I could’ve prevented it somehow.
He’s my best friend, my comfort, and a piece of my heart. Seeing him in pain is absolutely heartbreaking.
I’m asking for any support you can give — whether it’s a donation, sharing this post, or connecting me to any organizations or programs that help with emergency vet care.
Every bit helps me get closer to saving Lucky’s life and giving him the chance to see his 3rd birthday healthy and happy.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for sending prayers, love, and healing energy our way. I truly appreciate any help you can give.
With love and gratitude,
Malyja & Lucky Luciano
