everyone who knows Louie knows how special he is. We rescued him seven years ago and he has just been the most special happy little boy. Recently Louie fell ill and had to be rushed to the ER. After thousands in tests and waiting days with him kenneled at Blue Pearl they found a mass above his heart and a mass on his liver. His prognosis is a few weeks, maybe a month or two… our family is devastated. One of the doctors told us that Louie may be eligible for a $10,000 surgery that will help take pressure off his heart, be able to sample the heart mass, and remove bulk from the mass on his liver. These surgeries may expand Louie’s time here months and maybe even years. We want to give him every opportunity to get better and have the life he deserves.
