Mission Trip Dates: October 31 – November 9, 2025
A Life Hanging in the Balance
Right now in Malawi, a child is fighting a fever from malaria. Her mother holds her in her arms, praying for medicine, but there is no clinic nearby, no doctor to call, no money for treatment.
This is the heartbreaking reality for millions: children dying from treatable illnesses, mothers dying in childbirth, families suffering simply because healthcare is out of reach.
Our Mission
To provide free, accessible, and life-saving healthcare to poor and vulnerable families in Malawi starting with rural communities that have no access to doctors, clinics, or medicines.
Our Vision
A Malawi where no one dies from preventable or treatable diseases, where every mother has safe care during childbirth, every child has access to medicines, and every family has hope for a healthier tomorrow.
Why Malawi?
- Malawi’s GDP per capita is only $570 (2022) compared to $65,000 in the USA.
- Thousands die each year from treatable illnesses like malaria, infections, and childbirth complications.
- Imagine losing a loved one not because medicine doesn’t exist but because no doctor, no clinic, and no medicine is available.
That is the heartbreaking reality for millions of Malawians.
Why We Cannot Wait:
Every day of delay means another preventable death: a child lost to malaria, a mother lost in childbirth, a father gone from infection. Not because medicine doesn’t exist, but because healthcare is out of reach.
You can change this. You can stand between life and death for families in Malawi.
Be the Answer They Are Praying For

What We Will Do
With your help, we will:
- Send volunteer doctors, nurses, clinicians, and pharmacists to care for families at no cost.
- Partner with local pharmacies and health organizations to supply free medicines.
- Run medical camps in rural areas where no healthcare exists.
- Set up an HFA Malawi office with staff to ensure this mission continues long after the trip is over.
Sustainability of the Malawi Program
Health Focus Africa plans to establish an office in Malawi to replicate the successful model already in place in Kenya. The Malawi program will be sustained through the following approaches:
- Partnerships with Pharmacies and Pharmaceutical Companies
We will collaborate with local pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies in Malawi to secure donations of essential medications and medical supplies.
- Partnerships with Healthcare Institutions
We will work closely with local government hospitals and health institutions to obtain the support of skilled healthcare workers who can donate their services during medical camps and outreach programs.
- Collaboration with Churches and Community Organizations
Churches and other community-based organizations will be engaged to provide volunteers who can assist with setup, patient registration, and other support tasks during outreach activities.
- Grants and Charitable Support
We will apply for healthcare-related grants and seek support from charitable foundations and international donors to ensure consistent funding and program sustainability.

Every day we delay, another family buries a child, another mother dies in childbirth, another father loses hope.
But together, we can change this story.
- $50 can provide medicines for an entire family.
- $100 can support a nurse at a medical camp.
- $500 helps us set up the Malawi office so care reaches thousands more.
No gift is too small — every dollar is a chance at life.

• Hundreds of children will be treated for malaria, infections, and other preventable diseases.
