Save Lives: Donate to help Lugulu Hospital HIV Outreach
Tax deductible
Dear Friends:
The Lugulu Hospital is operated in rural Kenya by the Quakers, serving the poorest of the poor. Our George Fox University clinical team has been supporting the hospital each summer. One beacon of hope for the community is an HIV outreach program, funded (until now) by USAID and operated by the hospital. Culturally, these folks are often stigmatized and shunned in their communities. The HIV program supports thousands with outreach care and medications so they can remain in their communities and flourish. Now the funds have been halted. A letter from the General Secretary of Friends United Meeting (the Quakers) alerting us to this crisis is attached. Your help will save lives and we need it now! Any help you can give will make a big difference. We're back there again in June.
Gratefully, Debbie Burton and the George Fox University Kenya Team
