Save Lives: AED for Sunnyside Reformed Church

Dear friends,

I am fundraising on behalf of the Sunnyside Reformed Church, to buy an American AED Defibrillator machine that could be stored at the church and used in an emergency to save lives. All proceeds will go directly to the church. The Sunnyside Reformed church is a cornerstone in the Sunyside neighborhood, located on the corner of 48 Street and Skillman Avenue. There are many shops and restaurants in the area, and local Sunnyside residents who could benefit from the AED machine if it was to be bought and stored at the church. The Sunnyside church community has elderly members and a recent emergency with a congregation member inspired us to become better equipped in case of an emergency. We are also planning to organize a free CPR class with a certified CPR instructor for our Sunnyside neighbors in addition to acquiring the AED Defibrillator. Please help us with this noble cause. The Sunnyside Reformed Church has been founded 125 years ago and for all this time has been an outstanding support to the neighborhood of Sunnyside, providing programs for young children, elderly, support, and free Thanksgiving dinners.
