Save Little Organic Farm: Potatoes, Passion & Perseverance
Donation protected
My name is David Little, and I’ve been farming for over 30 years.
I specialize in dry-farming organic vegetables—primarily potatoes, tomatoes, and other coastal crops. For decades, I sold my produce through farmers’ markets, restaurants, and wholesalers.
But when COVID-19 hit, everything changed. While farmers’ markets remained somewhat stable, my other sales channels collapsed. As I worked to recover, inflation soared, and I was ultimately forced to sell my land at a reduced price.
I’ve since purchased a new property on the Eel River in Northern California, where I hope to continue farming. However, the costs of relocating and starting over have drained my resources. I’m now seeking support to bridge the gap until my new crop comes in.
Any contribution—large or small—would mean the world to me and help keep this farm alive. Thank you for supporting small farmers and helping me continue doing what I love.
