Hello again everyone! I have come to you with yet another baby I am trying to save. This is Little Bird, aka Birdie. She arrived to me a week ago today, and I really was not sure she would make it. Her blood glucose was 31, her temperature was 95... she was fading and fading fast! However, thanks to the APA medical clinic, she was stabilized and able to come home with me as an FIP hospice case. 

However, Birdie is only six months old. She has a whole life ahead of her. She has been in and out of the shelter, foster, and two different adoptive homes before coming to me. She has been sick more or less the entire time. She has never really gotten to be a kitten. I couldn't let her die knowing that there was a chance. 

Birdie has the wet version of FIP with included neurological symptoms. When I first took her in, I was expecting a wet FIP case. However, due to the neurological aspect, she needs double the dose per kilogram than wet FIP kitties get. So the cost of her treatment is double what I was expecting it to be. 

I hesitated to make a gofundme for her since I was not sure that she would survive, but here we are! A week later and she is not only surviving but thriving. She walks again, she breathes normally, she eats normally for the first time in weeks, she plays again, she harasses her siblings. I'm excited to see her progress, but we could use your help in offsetting her medical costs!
