Save Lilo: Urgent Help Needed for Treatment

Lilo has been responding well to the medication and seems to be getting better! Honestly, neither of us expected this, and we couldn’t be happier. She’s not out of the woods yet - she still has tarry stools, no interest in her kibble, and still lower energy - but she’s been enthusiastically eating boiled chicken and drinking plenty of water! She is way more alert and active than she was.

We know things could still take a turn or that complications might arise, but for now, we’re feeling hopeful and relieved.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped us cover part of the unexpected vet bills. It was such a relief, and it means the world to be lifted up by community during a time of sadness and stress. Thank you all!

Hello friends!

Our sweet little chiweenie Lilo has developed pancreatitis and is in dire need of hospitalization. The quoted price for hospital care is around $4,000, and we don’t have much time to make these decisions that no pet owner ever wants to make.

We are humbly asking our community of friends and family to chip in and help us save our dog. She is normally a very active, healthy, happy girl. We desperately want to give her this second chance to live the long life she was meant to live.
