Life’s Oasis was created as a labor of love by the owner, Greg Yuen. Life’s Oasis recovery center, is one of the only English speaking addiction treatment center’s in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding area. Greg is an honest, humble man who truly cares about helping others overcome and recover from addictions of all types. Greg’s own successful personal recovery, is what motivates him to teach others to free themselves from a life of addiction. Utilizing the 12 Step program, keeping in lockstep with other’s in recovery, is what keeps Greg grounded and living a life of sobriety. Over the past 5 years, Life’s Oasis has been a wonderful, safe place for all people seeking solutions that suffer with addictions, ie., drugs/alcohol/gambling/etc. Greg has never turned down an opportunity to help another seeking a solution to turn their life around. He has truly made Life’s Oasis a safe and comfortable place where the support is genuine and recovery is real.
Herein lies the very serious and unfortunate situation that Greg/Life’s Oasis Recovery Center in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico faces at this moment in time. Currently, Life’s Oasis is at real risk of closing its doors. At this very moment Life’s Oasis is 2 month’s behind on rent. Greg fears without financial help, Life’s Oasis will be forced to close down.
If Life’s Oasis closes, it’s not just a business that disappears. The loss would be monumental. Losing a pillar of the recovery community in Puerto Vallarta. Along with the resources, a second chance for many, a place to land for those who have no other options or anywhere else to go.
We are looking to raise 35K. USD. The funds we are looking to raise would: 1) keep the business operating giving us the ability to not turn away those souls who have a true desire to overcome addiction 2) cover overdue rents and past due bills, repairing all outstanding debts 3) reinstate staffing layoffs due to monetary hardship 4) enable the continuance in rebuilding addicts lives to live a life free from addiction.
Every donation, no matter how small or how grand will make a tremendous and significant difference. If you are someone reading this, who cannot donate monetarily at this time, your sharing this page could help reach someone who could.
Recovery is already hard enough. Losing a place like this only makes it harder. Without your immediate monetary support, we are in serious risk of losing this invaluable program that has thus far, saved so many. I implore everyone, please come together. Let’s keep Life’s Oasis Recovery Center alive. Somebody’s recovery, somebody’s very life may depend on this.
