I Michelle R.Cosme a mother of 2 beautiful children,a friend,a co-worker,a loving person and a loving wife and a mother. I am the breadwinner and the provider of the family. I am working at a Cruise line as a massage/spa therapist ,a hardworking, reliable, cooperative and one of the most loved employee on my team. I act as a mentor,trainer,sister,motivator,counselor and as a mother to some of my younger colleagues. I devoted my life in studying and working on my profession as a spa therapist to gain more friends,knowledge and profits to provide enough for my family's needs on a daily basis. I considered my work and job as my 2nd home,my 2nd family away from home. I ignore all home sick,pains,struggles,sea sickness,headache,cough and flue. I overcome all those obstacles in life while working away from y family
One day Oct 9,2017 3days away from my birthday i am experiencing trouble with ny breathing, coughing, itchiness and redness around my body feet and legs,numbness and cramps from my lower body,suddenly i feel anxious on my health condition, i decided to go to the clinic to have a checkup,told myself I'll give this as a present/gift to myself to have a good check on my day off. Then the worst thing has just begun. The physician found out that im in a deep trouble . I have 50/50 condition and chances of survival is minimal if not rush and treated to the hospital they said that all of my organs will shutdown and im going to die and my world stops for awhile and im so shock i can't imagine this is going to happen I'm thinking about my kids and my family ,i was rushed to the hospital and been diagnosed with END STAGE RENAL DISEASE (ESRD) STAGE5(meaning to say that y both kidneys are not functioning anymore ),and needed to have blood transfusion immediately and to undergo hemodialysis treatment. I was also having complications of having effusion/ water in the heart,lungs and ovary,so they put me on 4x a week dialysis 5hrs per session to remove all those deadly water in my internal organs and toxins,after 5days im out in ICU and they send me back home to Philippines and rushed to the emergency room immediately and confined from almost a month because of my critical condition, too many surgeries because of my access got infected been in and out in the hospital and until now I am undergoing hemodialysis 3x a week and last option is KIDNEY TRANSPLANT to save me and for me to be able to go back to work and help and support my family's needs and to live a normal and happy life with my family and specially my kids. I created this go fund me page to help me raised funds for my kidney transplant,(laboratory work,medicines and life time medication after transplant )because my funds and resources are not enough and we need all financial help so we can get to make sure that i can get the best treatment and transplant operation, any amount you can donate to help me finance my operation is a big help for me and will be highly appreciated.
