Help Save Our Local Creperie Café – A UT Campus Staple in Danger

Dear Austin Community, UT Students, Alumni, and Friends,

We’re reaching out to you during an incredibly difficult time for Les Bobos, a beloved spot in West Campus of the University of Texas campus.

Since Covid, we have had the honor to serve this community, providing a place to gather, study, laugh, and make memories.

We would like to think Les Bobos Crepes has been as special a place to the students as it has been for us. A “hidden gem” for locals, and a place where we are all connected. However, today, we need your help to keep our doors open.

Why We Need Your Help

Due to an unexpected legal battle that has drained our resources, we are facing a crisis that could result in the permanent closure of our café. As a small, locally owned business, we simply don’t have the funds to continue fighting this legal challenge. Without your support, our dream of continuing to serve the community very dear to us will come to an abrupt end.

We’ve always strived to create a warm, inclusive space where students could come in between classes, people watch, friends could catch up over coffee, and locals could feel at home. Now, we’re turning to this community—the very people who have made our café what it is today—to help us through this tough time.

How You Can Help

We need to raise the funds to cover the legal costs necessary to keep the café open. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to our goal. Your contribution will help us pay these legal fees and ensure that Les Bobos Crepes continues being a part of the UT and Austin communities.

Here’s how your support can make a difference:

* $10 could help us cover legal paperwork fees.

* $25 could go towards retaining our legal team for another day.

* $50-$100 could contribute to keeping our doors open while we fight this battle.

* $200 or more could help us take a major step toward resolving this legal issue and protecting our future (I would like to hope “once and for all!”)

Why This Café Matters

Les Bobos is more than just a place to grab coffee. For many, it’s where friendships were formed, study sessions happened, and countless memories were made. We’ve hosted local artists, student-run events, and served as a safe space for anyone who needed a break from the hectic pace of campus life. Losing this café would mean losing a part of West Campus’s character and the UT culture.
