Save Leroy the cat: Urgent Second surgery Needed

Donation protected
Leroy had the tumor removed from his leg. Upon biopsy, we got the news that he has cancer. It’s a rare form of cancer in young cats called osteosarcoma. They are not sure because of the placement on his leg and depth, if they got it all. The blood surrounding it looked good and it has only a fifteen percent chance of growing into other parts of his body. The best option is limb removal which needs to be done right after the holiday season. Our Christmas wish this year is to please find it in your hearts to help our cat. After the first surgery, he was playing like a kitten again and just has so much love to give. To read more about him keep reading. Abby my daughter, really appreciates helping her kitty too. Thank you and God bless.

Original post-
We are raising money for my daughter’s cat, Leroy. He has been with her since day 1 when his mom, Lulu, gave birth to him and all his brothers and sisters on Saint Patrick's Day 2022. Not even a year ago, after we tried to medically intervene, Abby lost his brother Larry after having him euthanized for thick pink fluid through his body. We were told it was most likely wet FIP. Like a horrible nightmare, his brother Leroy is now ill and after the death of Larry, Abby became extremely attached to Leroy. We have tried everything to treat him without surgery. But now it’s open, leaking, and smelling. He’s lost fur on his belly and leg. Surgery and post-treatment is our only option to give him any chance. I didn’t want to go this route, so I tried getting a grant. However, due to limited funds in every organization I reached out to, no one could help me. The surgery itself will be between $950-$1050 and he now needs it ASAP.

People have said that if you don’t have money, you shouldn’t have pets. But in the past, we have had at least enough to care for our animals. Due to our current family situation, this situation is just not feasible for us to pay for, and we would like to save him if at all possible or at least have the money to euthanize him if it comes to that and have him cremated so Abby can at least have closure and still feel close to him in some way.

If you could give anything at all, it would be very much appreciated, and also sharing this with everyone and anyone you can along with prayer.
