PLEASE HELP ME KEEP MY CAT ALIVE AND GIVE HIM THE CARE THAT HE DESERVES, LITTLE HELPLESS SOUL.

Hi! I am a proud owner of this amazing soul, my sweet cat Leo. He was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. But I will start from the beginning - I adopted him from a vet clinic 3 years ago. My first pet ever. Most of the time since I got him, it has been an adventure in terms of health. Every time I would bring this up to the vet clinic, they would tell me random things as to why he is sick, but it would never be solved completely. I was asking advice from pet owners and would solve the problems myself. They told me he was 2 years old, and later I came to find out he was actually around 5/6 years old at the time. One year into my adoption, I went to the emergency with him lethargic to find out he has CKD and is actually much older than I was told. The clinic staff from where I took him simply stopped answering my texts. I got him all the meds and diet for his condition, I would administer fluids, but unfortunately now he got worse. He is barely eating, lost a lot of weight, and is sleeping all day. Another trip to the vet cost me a good amount. Today I got the results and I am just crying my eyes out because I am not able to follow through financially to keep him healthy. He is anemic, the doc told me he needs help with blood, tests, and medications. A few days in a hospital to get immediate help. That costs money that I honestly do not have!

I am alone and work on minimum wage. I tried to manage, but it is too much! I love him so, so much. I do not want to give up on him. I would do anything to see him healthy. He is such a sweet boy and deserves so much! But unfortunately, money plays a huge role here. People tell me to just give him away, but I JUST CANNOT FAIL HIM, I CANNOT!!!

I ask anyone who can, PLEASE help me keep him alive and be able to afford all the treatments and care for him!!
