When I first met my girlfriend Madeline, I also met Leo, a wonderful orange and white kitty who helps her get through tough times when I’m not around due to work or shows. Her roommate abandoned Leo after leaving, and we’ve taken him in and loved him for two years now.
Unfortunately, after noticing he was having difficulty urinating, a vet found he has a bladder stone that was causing some blockage. While we’ve been given some medication to help, further procedures are needed before we can get him into surgery. I work three jobs to make sure ends meet; my girlfriend has various medical issues that prevent her from working at the moment, so money is very tight. We have pet insurance, but it will only cover so much.
We are asking for your help so that Leo may continue to bring light into the world. He’s a very special and loving cat. Leo cuddles with us when we are in physical or emotional pain. We cannot imagine what he’s going through and don’t want to imagine what will happen if it doesn’t get treated soon. Every little bit helps and you will have our eternal gratitude for helping us save our kitty.
Costs will be to cover further tests he needs for surgery along with surgery. Unfortunately, we’ll likely have to pay up front since our insurance takes several weeks to process a claim. He needs $900 for the further tests. All funds will be used for his medical care and recovery.
