Save Lenny: Urgent Medical Help Needed

*sensitive subject* this weekend our indoor kitty Lenny pushed out an old screen and ran away for the night and we didn’t know til the morning. He was seen on a few ring cameras with other kitties making friends. Unfortunately, sometime early in the morning Lenny had jumped into the next-door, neighbor‘s backyard to play with the dogs (he loves dogs and thinks he is one) where he was attacked by their dogs. Lenny‘s lungs were damaged, as well as his front arm, completely broken and dangling detached. I rushed him to the vet where he was kept on oxygen and received multiple x-rays. The veterinarian said we can attempt to fix his arm with putting a plate in it, but that there wasn’t a for sure guarantee of being able to use that arm. They also gave the option of amputation and suggested to move forward with that option- both options costing thousands. They can’t get Lenny in for the operation until Thursday this week so he was sent home with us on pain medication and antibiotics. Care credit is not an option we have maxed it out for our dog who has addisons disease and unfortunately lost her battle after 9 years. We can’t lose another member of our family and please don’t tell me to put him down because I will not.
