Hi I'm Sheryl I have a miniature Italian greyhound named Larry. Larry is 4 years old now. I had him since he was a pup. He such a good boy. He loves going for walks and most importantly he loves belly rubs. Lately he has lost his appetite to eat, he smells it the food and walks away. Sometimes he eats Sometimes he doesn't . It was getting worry some because that was unusual for Larry to be picky. Other times he just goes under the blanket. He acts like he's ok but he's not. I was concerned so I brought him to the vet for an evaluation and also a poop sample . They gave him the antibiotics for worms but he tested negative for ir. A day or to later decided to do blood work. Thinking it would be something minor. I get a call from the vet saying it was an kidney issue. They said he tested positive for acute kidney failure. I'm like what? They said he needed to be put on an IV for 24 hrs and get tested for kidney stone or an infection. I was told it would be at least a few thousand dollars. They wouldn't see him unless I paid them first. I tried care credit and scrap credit. I got denied. I used money I really don't have. Our pets are worth the money. Right now Larry is seeing a specialist today see what's really going on with him. If anybody wants to donate, every donation counts. I want to thank everybody for listening to my story and again thank you for donating!
