Save Large Breed Dog Rescue

It is with a heavy heart, that Large Breed Dog Rescue are looking for an alternative home for our Kent dogs due to the impending closure of our current location.

This will be the 3rd time in 10 years that we have lost our home due to the kennels being sold where we are based. Having celebrated our 20th year as registered charity last year, we do not want this to be the end of Large Breed Dog Rescue.

Our supporters who have followed us from the very beginning, have seen the work that we have done over the years. We have rehomed thousands of dogs, dogs who have come from homes and from the council pounds. Understandably, this news has hit the rescue hard however as always, we carry on doing the work that we have always done, saving and rehoming large breed dogs.

But this is where we need you, our supporters help. It isn't very often that we ask for assistance, however the time we have left is very limited. We do have funds available in a pot, but this will not stretch to enough to purchase our own location and be able to bring all of the dogs into one place.

The amount that we need to raise is around £600,000. This money will be for us to have our own, permanent home in the Kent area. As a registered charity, we have a number of trustees who agree any decisions that are made, so if anything was to happen to our founder the rescue would still continue long into the future.
