Save Larch’s home from HS2 AND HELP His NEXT GREAT PROJECT

Dr. Larch Maxey has dedicated 40 years to sustainability and climate solutions. In 2020 he co-founded HS2 Rebellion to protect our wildlife & communities from HS2's devastation. In 2021 he spent 27 days living in a tunnel under Euston Square Gardens, bringing international attention to HS2's destruction.

HS2 has been mired in controversy, corruption, and scandal, wasting UK taxpayers billions. Much of HS2 has been scrapped, yet the damage remains. Thousands of families have been displaced, and now, despite the majority of the project being abandoned, Larch faces a new threat: court costs & HS2's threat to force the sale of his home.

This isn’t just about one person. It’s about us all standing together to protect free speech and the right to dissent. While the project has caused more tree felling than any other in Europe, it has also displaced 1000s of families. Larch has been fighting to save public money and protect our wildlife, and now needs your help to save his home.

The Solution:

HS2 has agreed to settle out of court if he pays by 24th October, so we have just three weeks to raise these funds.

Thanks to many people's generous help, we are Well on our way to saving Larch's home.

I spoke with Larch today and said I would move the target up and tell people that any funds over the essential £25k to save the day, will go to support his NEW PROJECT.

Larch (unpaid thus far, very Larch) is setting up a new organisation, Ethical Sustainable Properties (ESP), to create affordable, sustainable homes for committed campaigners. This ties into this funding page's original purpose.
