Help Lara Beat Cancer for Good!

In January 2022, my best friend and all round top human being Lara-Jane Horner was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, while 6 months pregnant. She was given 1-2 years to live.

It's a horror story no one ever wants to hear, especially for someone so young, vibrant and full of life.

Since then, Lara and her husband Russell have had countless life changing decisions to make, faced with the prospect of losing their baby, then surgery after surgery and treatment after treatment to keep Lara alive.

Miraculously, baby Jack was born on April 1st 2022. He is now a bubbly, bright 3 year old and awesome little brother to his big bro Toby.

Over the last 3 years, Lara has continued to beat the odds and beat the cancer that she was told would kill her.

Technology and research is moving fast, and there is now an opportunity for Lara to travel to Germany for a vaccine based treatment that has proven effective in beating her specific type of cancer for good.

It doesn't come cheap, but the possibility of keeping Lara alive and her sons growing up with their amazing mum is worth anything we can give.
