Lake Bonney's Greenbelt: Help Us With Legal Expenses

Our Lake Bonney community fought hard to save five acres of vital greenbelt in Bonney Lake. Unfortunately, we lost our appeal against the tree-cutting permit due to a technicality, and now this beautiful forest will be replaced by a 19-house development.

We are devastated and left with significant legal bills from our efforts to protect the environment. To cover these costs, we are seeking help with legal expenses for the services provided by our environmental attorney, Gabriel Hinman of Smith Alling, P.S. in Tacoma.

The citizens involved in this fight are retired families and a young couple raising two children, all living modest lives. Your contribution would help ease this financial burden and show support for our efforts to preserve our community’s natural beauty.
