Save La Patisserie 1931

Hi, my name is Tiffany Peyre, and I’m the founder of La Pâtisserie 1931, a little pink French patisserie in Albany, Western Australia, that I built from the ground up with my heart, hands, and everything I had.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamt of bringing a piece of France, my heritage, to this small town. I wanted to create not just another coffee shop, but an immersive space filled with warmth, kindness, and connection. A place where people could come to feel seen, loved, and part of something special.

From the renovations, to the day we opened, to today, I poured my entire time, energy, and soul into this project. I worked countless 4 a.m. mornings, made every tart by hand, smiled (and cried) through exhaustion, and carried on even when it hurt, because I believe in this dream. And because I wanted to build something beautiful not only for the community, but for my little girl, Rosie, who has been by me while I chased this crazy dream of mine, her little hands have helped clean many tables, and her laugh has kept me sane throughout the hard days.

Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as planned. My business partner and I are now having to part ways.
To move forward and keep La Pâtisserie 1931 alive, I need to buy her share of the business, but I simply don’t have the funds to do it alone.
Unfortunately without the money La Patisserie might very well have to close its doors.

This GoFundMe isn’t just about money. It’s about keeping my dream alive, one that I carried from overseas with me, one that represents hope, resilience, and the belief that something small and true can still make magic in this rough world.

If you’ve ever been touched by a visit to the patisserie, by our smiles, our cakes, or a moment shared over coffee and laughter here : I’m asking humbly for your help. I hate asking but what I’d hate even more would be to see this place close its doors, not after all the hard work, not after making it into such an important staple of this community.

Every dollar brings me closer to being able to continue this journey, to keep my hard working employees, supporting other small businesses, and creating the little moments of joy our patisserie is known for.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. For reading this, for believing in me, for being part of something that started as a dream and has now become a piece of Albany’s story.

With love,
Tiffy x

PS: please note that every dollar wether we reach our goal or not will be used to make sure we can try and keep the patisserie open wether it is paying for lawyer fees, paying out my business partner or paying employees wages whilst i sort this situation out.
