Save Kylo's Sight: Donate for His Surgery
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Kristofer and my dog Kylo has recently been diagnosed with glaucoma. As a result of the glaucoma, Kylo has lost vision in his left (blue) eye and needs to have surgery to remove the eye and perform a biopsy.
Glaucoma can be caused by genetics, infectious disease, or injury. In order to determine the cause of glaucoma, a biopsy has to be performed; hence the removal of the eye. This biopsy will provide vital information as to the root cause of the glaucoma and in turn prevent him from potentially losing his other eye as well.
The cost estimate for the procedure is approximately $2,000 after taxes.
Kylo is only 7 years old and still full of life despite being a middle-aged dog. If you have anything you can spare to help offset the costs of his surgery, we would be eternally grateful for your help.
I do not expect anyone to bankroll this entire procedure and if you can't afford to donate, please don't.
I don't want anyone to feel coerced. I am simply asking if you have anything you'd be willing to share.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
I appreciate you taking the time to read through this, and I hope life has been treating you well.
Sincerely,
Kristofer
