On the second last day of my trip to the Philippines, I found a small dog lying barely breathing in the middle of the road. She had been hit by a vehicle and left behind — injured, alone, in the rain and fighting for her life.
Her name is Kyda, and she is brave!

Her Condition:
Kyda is suffering from:
• A broken back leg
• Nerve damage
• Severe anemia
• No family or home
Despite being given a low chance of survival, she has improved every single day. She was stabilized by an emergency vet, then transported by boat to a better-equipped facility for further care. I named her Kyda because of the strength she showed from the very first moment — and she’s continued to prove it ever since.

What I've Paid So Far:
We’ve already paid:
• $840 AUD for her initial stabilization and boat transport
• I'm currently paying off $690 AUD for her current care
But the biggest challenge is coming:
⚠️ Her surgery is scheduled for June 6th
It will cost around $1600 not including medication or aftercare
She has no home, so I will also need to pay for boarding and ongoing care

Fundraising Goal:
I am aiming to raise $3000 AUD to cover:
• Current and upcoming vet bills
• Surgery and medications
• Post-op care, therapy, and shelter while I work to find her a loving forever home

Why This Matters:
Kyda is a fighter. From being left in the street to improving against the odds, she’s shown incredible will to live. I’m in Australia now, coordinating everything remotely with her veterinary team in the Philippines.
I can’t do this alone — but together, we can give Kyda the second chance she deserves.
